Hi everyone,

I'm sorry if I STILL haven't got this damn club updated yet. I'm terribly sorry for that, I really am.

I've been depressed within the week, because of my family. I wasn't able to keep my mind off of the problems and it made my head hurt and feel sick at the same time.

I'm forwarding this message to all members and non-members of the club, who might have been worried about my absence, to let you know why the club isn't updated yet. Don't worry 'bout my situation, though, I'm just reassuring you all that this club is not going to die when I'm gone for probably 2-3 weeks within the month. It's just that I got things to handle in my real life and most of it just gets out of hand that I need to be there to handle most of these situations as much as I can.

On the other hand, for the non-members out there (who have asked to join the club), you are now an official member of the club. You can submit your drawings or commentary whenever you like, but remember that I won't be able to reply back on them as soon as the club receives them. I still have a busy week ahead of me, so I'm letting you all know beforehand that I might or might not get to them on time.

As for the contest, I'll be sure to make one on the 8th of August. If you still have any suggestions to throw at me, feel free to do so. Thanks.

Once again, I'm sorry, you guys, but I promise you all that I'll get this whole club running smoothly as soon as I can this week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Summer Break Contest

Greetings, members and new members of the club! Are you ready for another contest to come your way this month? Of course you are! Well, look no further, fellow fans, for I've just made a contest to dedicate the wonderful season of summer, but it's not just any summer we're celebrating... it's SUMMER BREAK! And it looks like Conker and all his friends (and foes) have gathered here today to join in the summer heat with us as well!

Now it's your chance to make a drawing of any of the characters seen from the video game series (such as Conker's Bad Fur Day, Conker: Live and Reloaded, Conker's Pocket Tales, Conker's Quest, or Conker's Twelve Tales) celebrating the summer break! It can be about them playing volleyball in a beach, going to the mall, etc. As long as it relates to however you or others celebrate their summer vacation, the entry is acceptable in the contest. And remember, it all has to relate to the Conker series.


Here are the rules you must follow:

The contest entries will be accepted only by members of the club. (If you want to sign up for membership, just leave me a note saying you want to join the club, and you'll be classified as a member.)
The contest entries must follow DA's rules and regulations. (For example, if a drawing has nudity or gore, you must use a warning filter. It's mandatory, even if you think it might not be necessary at all.)
The contest entries can be drawn/made however you like. Be it just lineart or colored in, whichever one you like, but I would recommend sending an entry that is fully cleaned and/or colored. (Note: This is an eligibility for those who want a higher standard of winning.)
The contest entries must be related to all the characters from the series. I will not accept an entry if it has a crossover with your original characters, Rareware's characters, etc.
The contest entries must be made PURELY from you, and yourself only. I will not accept cut-out screens from the video game, or anything else that might relate to that. I want to see your originality.
The contest entries can have a minimum amount of blood and gore, foul language, and nudity, but if it exceeds the amount given to you, the entries will not be acceptable to enter in the contest.
The contest entries must be CREATIVE, and if possible, FRIENDLY.
You can enter as much as 3 entries, but no more than that.


If you want to submit your entry, follow these guidelines:

Send me a comment of your drawing ONLY on this journal.
Send me a note of your drawing, and title it "Contest Entry".


And lastly, here are the prizes that'll be given out to the winners:

1st Runner-Up
- A drawing fully cleaned and colored from =MyFantasiWorld
- A 3-month subscription from =Commander-Luminaire
- An animated stamp fully made from =Commander-Luminaire
2nd Runner-Up
- A drawing sketched out (not cleaned or colored) from =MyFantasiWorld


The contest will begin at June 7, 2009 at 12:00 am GMT (Mountain Time) and will end at July 18, 2009 at 10:00 pm GMT (Mountain Time.)

Until the deadline has reached, the voting will start to take place, in which will determine the winners of the contest. You'll have a whole month to make your entry and submit it on time, so you better make it as best as you can!

If you turned in your entry late or didn't get the chance to make one, well, I'll have to say you'll have to try again next time until the next contest is made. My name is Stephanie G., also known here as =MyFantasiWorld, and I’ll be serving as your host for this wonderful club ever made to contribute to Rareware‘s video game series, Conker‘s Bad Fur Day! We have a wide selection of art depicting Conker and all of his friends, so relax, grab a beer, and feel free to wander through our gallery!

But guests and friends alike, beware! Do not comment or on the art you see here! Each work has a link at the bottom that links back to the original posting. Comment and on the original posting only! Otherwise, how will the artist ever know you liked their art?

How do I join the club?

It's easy! All you have to do is watch us, and send us a note or leave a comment asking to join. That's it! (Be sure to title your notes “Joining” so it would be easier for me to distinguish them from the “Submissions” ones.)

How can I let others know about the club?

If you would like to spread the word around about this club, or show off your undying appreciation towards it, I would suggest putting the club’s icon into your journal, your forum or anywhere you would like it to be on your profile!

If you don’t know how to make the icon appear, read through the following:

How Do I Submit Art?

To add your art to our selection of art, you must send a note to the club with a link to your deviation that you wish to submit. Deviations must be within dA's rules and regulations, and most importantly, must be related to the Conker series! There's Conker's Bad Fur Day, Conker's Live and Reloaded, and Conker's Pocket Tales to choose from, and we accept any and all fan art based on the series. We even take original characters, so long as they relate to the Conker series.

If you don’t know how to submit your artwork, read through the following here:

WARNING!

Once again, do not comment or (favorite) here on the club’s gallery! Only follow the original link of the artwork that is provided below the deviation’s comment box, because if you don’t, how will the creator know that you liked it?

Rules & Regulations

You can submit any kind of artwork to the club so as long as you follow DeviantArt’s rules and regulations. For instance, if a picture is very explicit with nudity or gore, I’d recommend using the “Contains Mature Content?” options before submitting the piece. It can’t get any simpler than that.

Also I would like to let the artists know when they submit their art to the gallery, their artwork will be watermarked or minimized to a smaller extension. This action is made in order to sustain the rights of an artist’s work, such as copyrights.

And finally, I will not tolerate immature behavior, arguments, or discrimination among the fellow members and the club administrators (such as myself). If I ever catch anything like that within this club, I will inform you to the DA administrations about it, even if it means banning you as a member of the site. But I wouldn’t like to go to that kind of extreme, so please do follow the rules and you’ll be fine. It’s the only thing I ask from all of you.
